WHAT IS WONKRU? Camp Wonkru is a three day camping festival hidden deep in the woods. A place shaped by participation, creativity, curiosity, and care. A place where strangers become friends, where everyone contributes something, and where the experience belongs to all of us. Our values are simple: Peace. Love. Unity. Respect. Fur. We are all here for the same thing. In a world increasingly controlled by algorithms, we choose people. Say hello to someone new. Share a story. Make a friend. Put your phone away there's no signal worth chasing out here. The digital age promises connection, yet often leaves us disconnected from one another. For three days, we gather to dance, create, laugh, cry, stargaze and remember what matters. Build a campfire. Share a meal. Invite a neighbor to join you. Treat strangers like friends. Camp Wonkru is about the crews, collectives, artists, builders, dreamers, and the people who keep culture alive. It's about reclaiming space for art, noise, chaos, healing
